A new year always brings a fresh sense of possibility, and 2026 is shaping up to be an

exciting one for Barre. At The Barre Partnership, we’re proud to spend each day

promoting the people, businesses, and events that make our downtown such a special

place to live, work, and visit. As we step into the year ahead, we’re looking forward to

another full calendar of ways to gather, celebrate, and support our local community.

The Barre Partnership is proud to start the year off collaborating with the Barre Social

Club as we bring you the new site of the Barre Winter Farmers’ Market series. Join us

every other Wednesday, starting January 14th through April 29th, 3:30-6:30pm, as we

celebrate the local wares of our community members and gather with friends and

neighbors inside the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Barre Social Club on Main

Street in downtown Barre.

Make sure to mark your calendars for this year’s Barre Heritage Festival. The dates are

set for July 22nd through July 25th. As always you can expect events like the fan-

favorite parade, the Barre Rotary Club’s annual breakfast, too many entertainers to

name performing on our City Hall Park Stage, vendors lining Main Street up and down

and on both sides, along with the most spectacular fireworks display show anywhere

this side of the Green Mountains.

While there will be many events that The Barre Partnership will be featuring throughout

2026, another one you need to make sure to mark your calendars now for is the premier

event in all of Central Vermont; Our Wednesdays in Currier Park Series, featuring Barre

Farmers Market, Concerts in Currier Park Series and Food Truck Night all happening

each Wednesday afternoon June through September.

We think we are very lucky to live and work in the vibrant community of Barre. From

locally owned shops and restaurants to the people behind them, Barre is filled with

places worth discovering and revisiting all year long. What truly sets our community

apart is the pride and care residents show for the people and places that help define

Central Vermont. Whether you’re stopping in to try something new or returning to a

longtime favorite, each visit helps keep our downtown lively and welcoming. Come out

often, explore what’s new, and don’t forget to share a friendly hello with neighbors,

young and old, new or longtime along the way.
