Membership in The Barre Partnership
makes a difference!

When you are as lucky as we are to live and work in an amazing place like Barre, it’s hard not to shout about it from the rooftops! We invite you to join The Barre Partnership’s members to tell people in Vermont and across the country about the Granite City of the World and encourage them to come check it out for themselves. We need your support to further our mission and sustain the following initiatives:

Downtown Events

The Barre Partnership organizes the annual Barre Heritage Festival, the Barre Famer’s Market, and the Summer Concerts in Currier Park series.  We also help promote countless independently organized events like the Granite City 5K and promote and support downtown business events.  Downtown events bring shoppers and diners to downtown Barre and promote a vibrant downtown atmosphere.

Economic Development

We foster economic development by supporting smart development policies, working collaboratively with the Barre Area Development Corporation, hosting ribbon-cuttings for new businesses, and collaborating with Barre businesses, civic, and governmental organizations to enhance the city's position as a preferred location for business.

Marketing and Promotion

We work with the State of Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing to promote Barre as a great place to visit, and promote Barre’s shopping, dining, and entertainment options to visitors near and far. We have refreshed our website with new content, have a monthly email newsletter, and have energized our social media, print and radio presence all to better serve this goal.

Streetscape Beautification

We work to beautify downtown with our winter and summer banners, flower plantings and streetscape improvements, such as holiday lights and art-work.  We also work with Studio Place Arts to support installation of the granite art pieces downtown.

Please consider supporting our work by becoming a member today! Complete the forms below and email to director@thebarrepartnership.com  The Barre Partnership is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and all contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Please contact me if you should have any questions about the benefits of membership, our upcoming plans, or how you can become involved in our work.  Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

Maddie, Slowpoke Exchange

"The Barre Partnership helped us establish Slowpoke on Barre's Main Street this year and we are so grateful. The partnership's connections throughout Barre help new businesses navigate opening and getting their name out there!  The continued support, whether it is sharing our posts on social media or having monthly merchant meetings, is invaluable!  Thanks BP!"
