The 6th annual Granite City 5K Run/Walk for Veterans is November 2, 2020. This event is produced in collaboration by the Barre Partnership and Capstone Community Action. The registration period is open until the day of the race. All profit of this event goes to Capstone Community Action's veteran services. More information about this event will be available in June.

The Barre Heritage Festival and Homecoming Days began in the 1970's as a celebration of the community's ethnic heritage steeped in the immigrants who moved here from around the world looking for opportunity in the granite quarries of Barre. Today, the festival provides the community an opportunity to come together to celebrate our past and embrace the future. The Barre Farmer's Market has found a home at Currier Park on Wednesday's from 4-7 between June 3rd and August 26th. Our rain location is the B.O.R. (20 Auditorium Hill).
