The BARRE PARTNERSHIP is a dynamic local nonprofit organization committed to fostering a vibrant Downtown Barre.

Main Street Community
The Partnership represents Barre as the official organization of its “designated downtown,” a designation of the Vermont Downtown Program and the Preservation Trust’s National Main Street Center, and is one of only five Vermont downtown programs to achieve the distinction of becoming a Nationally Accredited Main Street Community. The organization of dedicated local volunteers coordinates activities that foster civic pride and the economic, social and cultural quality of life in Downtown Barre.

- We Dig Barre - Provides the public with information on construction related street closings and the best way and time to get to Downtown Barre businesses and services during the exciting Main Street Reconstruction Project, Barre’s “Big Dig”.
